MetOcean Consult

Services

From the first site screening to design, installation and operation, decisions in offshore wind, port and coastal projects depend on wind, waves, currents and water levels. We provide the information behind those decisions.

Our work starts with reliable data: long-term hindcasts and measurements, checked and validated. On that basis we deliver site assessments and metocean statistics, extreme design criteria and weather risk analysis. Where data alone are not enough, we set up and run numerical models, from ocean basins to individual harbour basins and, with CFD, to single structures. We develop dedicated software, provide forecasts during operations, and share our knowledge in courses and workshops.

Our work complies with the relevant standards (DNV, IEC, ISO, NORSOK). Every service can be delivered on its own or as part of a larger study.
