Forecasting

We provide automated forecasts of key metocean parameters for any location in the world, tuned to your operation, whether you work on offshore energy projects or optimise shipping routes.

Forecasts for operations

We forecast currents, waves, water levels, temperature and wind. Forecast reports are prepared four times a day, based on data from reliable sources, and where possible validated against observations.

Besides the standard reports, we provide fit-for-purpose services: high-resolution forecasts for any location, customised report formats (for example with your own logo), forecast data, weather reports and additional parameters.

Global forecasts

We provide daily updates of global wind forecasts, based on global weather predictions by third parties: four times a day, up to 192 hours ahead, on a global grid. For project- and site-specific purposes we deliver forecasts of waves, water levels and currents.

Global forecasts of precipitable water in the atmosphere let engineers and scientists track large-scale weather systems such as tropical and mid-latitude cyclones.
