With the support of CVIS (www.cvis.nl), a Dutch based firm specialized in High Performance Computing, MetOcean Consult has connected to the UK based Hartree Centre (www.hartree.stfc.ac.uk/hartree/) for performing it’s computations.
The new facility marks a running start to the UK Government’s recently announced investment and expansion of the at this site Hartree Centre at Daresbury, which is designed to boost Modelling & Simulation, Big Data Analytics and Cognitive Computing research in the UK in order to deliver economic growth on a national scale.
